Ken Linczer, Currently of Houston TX, by way of New York, NY , Melbourne FL, and Hollywood FL.

I'm an Electrical Engineer and I walk for a semiconductor test company called Teradyne(www.teradyne.com). It's an international company so maybe my work will take me around the world to meet some of you. I've been involved in chip testing since '81. I did spend 6 years working in an quality/reliability lab for an oil field services company. If you live in Texas you have to work in the oil business for some part of you life.

Right now my specialty is working on microcontroller based ABS chips (actually a couple dozen different chips of the same family) that just may be in the car or truck you drive.

My main hobby used to be going to and trading Grateful Dead concert tapes (DEADHEAD). For better or worse (really for the better) I now find myself into the Savage and getting hooked into whatever the heck is happening here. I don't have much to say to Deadheads anymore. However, I do mostly listen to Dead music and still spend money on building a CD collection. Other than that I'm into bluegrass, newgrass, and good old rock and roll. Non of which my children enjoy.

I'm a single dad with two girls, 13& 16. I don't stray too far from them, that's why I only go on short cruises around the bad roads. Its not my time to hit the highway yet. I think we are going to finance my older daughter's education by getting her a CIA scholarship and letting her commit to work behind the scences doing analysis of foreign country's economy. She would make a great lawyer, but she does not want to right now. My younger daugther is more of a mystery.

When I was 10 I had a minibike with which I annoyed the neighbors. At age 19 I had a Kawasaki 550 (scary bike, I never opened it up, I only had it for 6 months). Now at 42, I have the Savage. I don't admit to being a biker quite yet, give me another year or two. I'm slow.
